Specimen Requirements

An EDTA tube and a red-top tube are required.

For Direct Anti-human Globulin testing, sample must be tested within 48 hours.

Container/Tube: Lavender top (EDTA)

Specimen Volume: 4 mL

 

Specimen Type: Cord blood, plain

Container/Tube: Red top-Serum gel tube is not acceptable.

Specimen Volume: 10 mL
