Specimen Requirements
Once a steady-state has been achieved, and when peak and trough values are not critical, a draw time of 3 to 8 hours is recommended after a coated capsule oral dose; 8 to 24 hours is recommended after a slow-release oral dose; 30 minutes to 6 hours is recommended after an intravenous dose; and, 3 to 8 hours is recommended after a suppository dose.
